@Shirish, Moksha is freedom from life-and-death (cycle of suffering), majorly understood in Hinduism context, and it is attainment of one's consciousness (soul) with The God. Whereas, Nirvana is a state of mind achieved through liberation from the cravings and other mental formations. There is 'no soul' in Buddhism context.
